We are recruiting for an experienced Mechanic/Technician for our busy workshop in Newbury.

This is a full time position working 40 hours per week Monday – Friday and occasional Saturday mornings.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for fixing, maintaining and repairing vehicles.

Duties include:

• Carry out routine  servicing and repairs on a large range of vehicles including, oil changes, brakes, clutches & cam belts
• Ascertain parts required to resolve the customer issue and order as required
• Conduct road tests
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance & repair services performed and write up job cards in a clear and concise manner
• Adhere to the Health & Safety aspects of the working environment
• Liaise directly with customers when required in a professional manner

You should demonstrate the following skills and experience;

• Proven experience as a Mechanic or similar role
• Ability to work independently & as part of a team
• Full UK Driving Licence
• IT literate

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: According to experience & ability
