It’s that time of year again where we made our yearly trip to the races. As usual we supported Newbury Race Course with support vehicles and sponsored one of the evenings races, The Rayner Bosch Car Service Handicap Stakes. The weather was looking quite dicey earlier in the day but it turned out to be a beautiful evening. It’s always great getting the team together outside of the garage environment.
Our sponsored race was won by Throubi at a starting price of 4/1, ridden by Jockey Ross Coakley and the winning trainer was James Fanshawe, pictured with Kevin and Rob below. As it was an 8.45pm race, by the time we got to the photos it was getting pretty dark, hence the lighting (they look like they’re standing above a spotlight for dramatic effect!).
We really enjoy getting involved with the racecourse and the local community. And getting the “Royal Box” experience as race sponsors is always a treat. It’s especially nice to be able to share it with the team and we always look forward to it. And it was great to be joined by our June MOT competition winners for the evening.
